Waste Couture protocol: Specifications

The Waste Couture Protocol is the set of specifications that define the application standards of the closed-loop methodology for the production processes of fabrics, the processes on them, the articles of clothing and accessories.

Process quality standards for determining the closed production cycle

The Waste Couture Protocol lists a series of specifications and product development methods that guarantee the execution of the closed production cycle. Whoever becomes a closed-loop supply chain operator, participates in the execution of products according to the requirements of the specifications and obtains the use of the Wastemark brand and product labeling.

A guarantee program of the closed cycle supply chain is used so that the method expressed by the protocol is maintained in all production phases. This program also ensures that the method is consistently performed by the different licensees.

The protocol also provides the necessary updates on the specifications that define the methods to be applied from the style office to production and from distribution to communication.
